The Zambia Credit Guarantee Scheme (ZCGS) is delighted to announce its new partnership with Stanbic Zambia Bank solidified during an official signing ceremony at Stanbic Bank headquarters. This collaboration is a significant step forward in promoting financial inclusion for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Zambia.
Speaking at the ceremony, ZCGS CEO Ms. Mary Mumba and Stanbic Bank CE Mr. Mwindwa Siakalima emphasised the critical role MSMEs play in Zambia’s economic development and reaffirmed their commitment to driving MSME growth and fostering financial accessibility.
This strategic alliance is poised to make a lasting impact on Zambia’s economic landscape by empowering local businesses to thrive in a competitive market. With the onboarding of Stanbic Zambia Bank, the scheme now has a total of 13 partner financial institutions and hopes to see increased utilization coupled with sector diversification.
