A team from the Zambia Credit Guarantee Scheme participated in the national stakeholder consultation on Zambia’s Second Generation National Agricultural Investment Plan (NAIP II) that is proposed to be the Comprehensive Agricultural Transformation Support Program (CATSP)
The conference which was officially opened by Her Honor the Vice President Mrs. W.K Mutale Nalumango brought together sector players from across the country .
The main objective of the conference was to validate the soon to be implemented program which is meant to be an improvement over the NAIP II which has failed to see growth in the agriculture sector during the implementation period.
Of particular interest to the ZCGS was the proposal to establish a fund that would be used for the issuance of credit guarantees among other uses
