The Zambia Credit Guarantee Chief Executive Officer, Ms Mary Mumba was the proud recipient of the Distinguished Business Leadership Excellence Award in New York at a colorful event at the side lines of the United Nations General Assembly. The award which was conferred by the African Leadership Magazine recognized Ms Mumba for her efforts in promoting financial inclusion among underserved groups. As CEO for ZCGS, Ms Mumba has continued to promote financial inclusion by overseeing the issuance of partial credit guarantees to hundreds of MSMEs with insufficient collateral. Speaking during the award giving ceremony, Ms Mumba expressed delight at being recognized for the role she plays in the financial sector. She pledged to keep working to support MSMEs especially women , youth and other underserved groups so that they could access finance for their businesses to grow.
